Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (SRM) to lead planning, resourcing, staffing and scheduling across multiple programs. The role interfaces with program management and customers to ensure technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost targets are met.

The position offers a remote option and an on-site work environment in Huntsville, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 5-7 years of engineering experience.
• Engineering degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering design evaluations within budget and scheduling restraints.
• Reviews industry policies and procedures for data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Provides technical support for the engineering process.
• Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Leads an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to plan, staff, and execute projects.
