Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead planning, resourcing, and execution across multiple programs within the Solid Rocket Motor Engineering Team. You will coordinate IPT activities and serve as the engineering interface to program management, senior leadership, and customers to meet technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years of experience required.
• Engineering degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering design evaluations within budget and scheduling restraints.
• Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Provides technical support for the engineering process.
• Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
• Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project.
