Job summary

Applica in Houston is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support large-scale power generation projects from an owner's perspective. You will act as the technical interface among engineering teams, EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, project management, and commercial stakeholders.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, review deliverables, manage interfaces, and identify potential risks to ensure projects are technically sound, commercially viable, and delivered on

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in power generation, energy infrastructure, or similar major capital projects.
• Experience working for an Independent Power Producer (IPP).
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and oversee EPC contractors.
• Strong communication, commercial awareness, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and interfaces across project teams.
• Review technical deliverables and identify potential project risks.
• Support projects through engineering, construction, commissioning and startup.
• Ensure projects are technically sound, commercially viable, constructible, and delivered per objectives.
