Job summary

Net Power LLC in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Project Manager – Power Generation to lead owner-side execution of utility-scale projects from FEED through COD and turnover to operations. You will coordinate internal teams and external EPCs to deliver a bankable project on time and within budget.

The role requires 10+ years of IPP project management, strong scheduling and cost control skills, and experience with FEED/FID and commissioning. Hybrid work model offered in Houston.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive project management experience in utility-scale power generation
• Owner/developer-side experience with an independent power producer (IPP)
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical field
• PMP certification and/or PE license is a plus
• Experience delivering large-scale power projects through FEED, FID, EPC, commissioning and COD

Responsibilities

• Lead owner’s Project Manager role for project execution across technical, commercial, financial, contractual, and operational workstreams
• Coordinate interfaces among engineering firms, EPC contractors, utilities, advisors, and suppliers
• Monitor schedule, cost, risk, and procurement aligned to the integrated project plan
• Provide concise executive reporting on safety, schedule, cost, and milestones
• Oversee commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and turnover to operations
