Managed IT Services Provider seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead hands-on onboarding and project delivery for new and existing clients. You will own environments end to end, scope and execute migrations, deploy standard security tools, and hand off a fully documented setup to the service desk.
You’ll act as the primary client contact during onboarding and project work, requiring clear communication and strong Microsoft 365/Entra ID experience, networking know-how, and autonomous decision
We're a well-established MSP looking to add a Senior Project Engineer to our technical team. This is a hands-on execution role, not a coordination role. You'll personally onboard new clients and lead planned technology projects for existing ones, then hand off a clean, fully documented environment to the service desk.
When a new client is onboarding, that's your top priority. When there isn't one active, you're running the next infrastructure or migration project on the board. Either way, you own the outcome start to finish, not a status update on someone else's work.
This role runs with minimal oversight. You'll be given the client and the objective, not a step-by-step plan, and you're expected to know what to do. You'll also be the client's main point of contact during onboarding and project work, so how you communicate matters as much as how you execute.
Base salary: $95,000–$125,000/year, based on experience, plus performance bonus.

Certifications and exam costs paid.
Primarily office and client-site environment. Regular local travel to client sites, with occasional need to lift and carry IT equipment (up to ~40 lbs). Some work outside standard business hours may be required to support project cutovers or maintenance windows.
