Job summary

Prince in Florida seeks a Civil Infrastructure Project Engineer to oversee mega construction programs valued over $100 million, coordinating engineering teams, owners, and contractors to keep projects on schedule.

You will lead meetings, review specifications, manage RFIs and change orders, and monitor cost, schedule, and QA to ensure conformance with FDOT standards and contract requirements. A bachelor's in CM or civil engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in civil infrastructure project engineering or construction management on >$50M projects.
• Experience negotiating and managing subcontractor contracts and change orders.
• Experience in cost estimation and financial analysis on large projects.
• Knowledge of FDOT standards and ability to interpret plans and specs.
• Proficiency with Procore and Primavera for scheduling and cost performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings with owners, foremen, contractors to coordinate progress and resolve issues.
• Coordinate technical information between internal teams and the project owner.
• Evaluate data and review specifications to ensure conformance to standards.
• Provide technical advice and manage RFIs and corrective actions with Engineer of Record.
• Identify potential delays and recommend process improvements to keep on schedule.
• Develop work plans and procedures for construction oversight on large projects.
• Schedule and monitor construction activities on projects over $100 million.
• Estimate quantities and maintain bill of materials and budgets based on project specs.
• Review supplier quotations and perform cost-benefit analyses to support decisions.
• Coordinate safety, health & environmental program implementation.
