Job summary

Prince Contracting is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a single, complex civil construction project in Florida. You will manage budget, schedule, and pay estimates, aligning owner expectations with contract requirements.

You will supervise engineering and field teams, handle change orders, and present monthly forecasts to leadership while ensuring safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in construction project management.
• 5+ years’ experience in managing personnel.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Strong interpersonal skills to delegate tasks and maintain relationships.
• Ability to identify and manage project risk.
• Ability to manage multiple departments and direct reports toward one completion goal.
• Identifies growth opportunities and mentors staff.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 or scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the project scope, budget, and cash management.
• Develop and manage project schedule, pay estimates, and staffing requirements.
• Review contracts and resolve specifications or scheduling issues with the owner.
• Lead engineering and scheduling teams; negotiate change orders.
• Produce monthly cost and revenue forecasts for leadership.
• Coordinate with supporting departments and owner on the project plan.
• Serve as primary contact for landowners, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Review and approve safety procedures and conduct weekly safety checks.
• Lead project closeout, retainages, and post‑project debriefs.
