Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC in Florida seeks an experienced Project Engineer to plan and oversee mega infrastructure projects valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Under the supervision of an engineer, you will lead meetings with owners, foremen, contractors, and supervisors to coordinate progress, schedule, and technical issues.

You will ensure conformance to FDOT standards, prepare estimates, review RFIs, and coordinate responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on civil infrastructure projects valued over $50 million.
• Experience with FDOT standards and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings with owners, foremen, contractors, and supervisors to coordinate progress and resolve issues.
• Coordinate technical information between internal teams and project owner.
• Evaluate technical data and ensure conformance to design standards and budgets.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of materials, and supplier quotations.
• Manage subcontractor contracts and change orders; monitor quality and safety programs.
