Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to drive execution on large-scale vertical construction across the Southeast. You will collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents on busy, high-value projects and travel to active job sites as needed.

Ideal candidates have 4–8+ years in commercial construction, proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam/MS Project, and a degree in Construction Management or Engineering. Competitive salary with base, bonus, and travel per diem offered.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of experience in commercial construction.
• Experience on student housing, multifamily, or mid/high-rise projects preferred.
• Ability to manage project documentation and coordination independently.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast for project-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFI, submittal, and document control processes with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to maintain schedule and quality.
• Assist in project scheduling, phasing plans, and look-ahead planning.
• Track and manage project costs, change orders, and budget impacts.
• Support buyout and procurement for key trades.
• Drive QA/QC processes and ensure work aligns with plans/specs.
• Maintain strong communication between field operations and office teams.
• Assist in project closeout, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
