Ascendion is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join its Austin team. This role offers meaningful responsibility across the full project lifecycle while collaborating with seasoned Project Managers and Superintendents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, estimating, scheduling, procurement, budgeting and safety.
• Experience with Viewpoint or similar construction PM software.
• Experience with Primavera or similar scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents in the execution of commercial construction projects.
• Manage cost control, estimating, scheduling, procurement and safety activities.
• Perform constructability reviews of design documents and identify potential issues.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, assist with budgets, cost coding and cash-flow forecasting.
• Analyze and manage owner and subcontractor change orders.
• Review cost reports and assist with forecasting final project costs.
• Participate in monthly project/job reviews.
• Assist with bid analysis and subcontractor procurement.
