Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for upcoming projects in Austin, TX. The candidate will lead field operations, manage schedules, and ensure timely material delivery to meet project milestones.

Requirements include 5+ years as a Superintendent, OSHA 30 within 90 days, and solid knowledge of building codes. Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma required. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in construction or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent.
• OSHA 30 HR required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and communicate project schedules, including uploading to Procore and distributing to field teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project timelines and requirements.
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings covering progress, safety, RFIs, submittals, and coordination items.
• Communicate issues to the PM with cost or schedule implications and document conversations.
