Job summary

MCN Build is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Washington, DC, to manage RFIs, submittals, and document control while coordinating with subcontractors and field teams to keep projects on track. The role supports cost tracking, change orders, and document accuracy, guiding junior staff and improving processes.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of construction experience, a related degree, and proficiency with Procore, PlanGrid, and Sage 300 or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of construction experience.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, coordination, and project processes.
• Proficiency in Procore, PlanGrid, Sage 300 or similar tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage core project functions such as RFIs, submittals, and document control.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and field teams to keep projects on track.

• Guide junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
