Job summary

MCN Build is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Washington, DC to oversee core project functions such as RFIs, submittals, and document control. You will coordinate with subcontractors and field teams to keep projects on track, and support cost tracking and change orders with limited supervision.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–4 years of construction experience, with proficiency in Procore, PlanGrid, and Sage 300.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–4 years of construction experience.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, coordination, and project processes.
• Proficiency in Procore, PlanGrid, Sage 300 or similar tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs, submittals, and document control with limited oversight.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and field teams to keep projects on track.
• Own specific scopes or phases of work and assist in cost tracking and change orders.
• Provide guidance to Project Engineers and help resolve project issues.
