Metric DCX is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction programs from planning through closeout. The role demands strong organizational skills, financial acumen, and the ability to build durable relationships with owners, subcontractors, and project teams.

The successful candidate will oversee budgets, cash flow, contracts, and risk management, while mentoring project staff and ensuring adherence to standard processes for high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant construction/project management experience.
• Strong understanding of contracts, financial management, scheduling, and risk management.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver profitable projects.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions with incomplete or changing information.
• Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills with a professional, fair approach.
• High level of initiative, accountability, and adaptability.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete, and cash flow.
• Oversee change orders, contract modifications, allowances, field directives, and back charges.
• Manage owner and subcontractor requisitions and payment processes.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, procurement plans, and buyout strategies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, cost exposures, and contractual issues.
• Maintain accurate project logs, documentation, and reporting.
• Establish effective meeting, communication, and project-control processes.
• Build productive, professional relationships with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Lead quality management, inspections, deficiency resolution, and project closeout.
• Develop and mentor project team members and promote consistent use of standard processes.
• Take decisive action to address performance, schedule, financial, and contractual issues.
