Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage a small project or a component of a larger project, applying JE Dunn processes to project management, administration and field execution. The role focuses on safety, quality, scheduling and collaboration with the project team.

On-site duties include coordinating with QA/QC, tracking progress, managing submittals and procurement logs, and supporting the lean construction approach. Travel and varied hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 3+ years construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety and quality plans on site.
• Coordinate QA/QC with project team.
• Assist estimating and change management including take-off.
• On-site supervision of crew, materials, equipment.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and documentation.
• Lead submittal process and project scheduling.
• Close out processes and documentation.
• Mentor others.
