Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage a small project or a component of a larger one. You will apply JE Dunn processes to oversee project management, administration and field execution, working with the project team on site.

You will lead safety and quality plans, assist with estimating and change management, monitor progress, organize meetings, prepare reports, and support lean practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of construction or project engineering experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned aspects of safety and quality plans on the project.
• Coordinates QA/QC planning to ensure quality.
• Assists in estimating and change management, including take-offs.
• Oversees on-site activities, materials, and manpower.
• Produces daily/weekly reports and maintains documentation.
• Supports project scheduling and procurement tracking.
• Leads submittal process and close-out activities.
• Mentors others and applies Lean practices.
