Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 8 years project engineering/management in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Excellent verbal and written communications across all levels and with vendors
• Excellent time management, collaborative, and able to build strong working relationships
• Good working knowledge of procurement processes and SAP

Responsibilities

• Support monthly project cost forecasting and annual capital plan development
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to update capital plans
• Manage execution of the annual capital plan per cost and schedule expectations
• Lead development of project scope, cost estimate, and economic justification for appropriation requests
• Manage design, procurement, contracting, execution, commissioning, and turnover activities
• Identify the need for outside resources and engage SMEs to support project implementation
• Coordinate with internal and external resources during design and execution
• Ensure all activities follow approved PM procedures and engineering standards and meet statutory requirements
• Interact with all levels of the organization and collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Maintenance
• Responsible for safety performance and compliance with management of change guidelines
