Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer for heavy civil/highway work in the Atlanta area. You will lead the engineering side of highway, bridge, and infrastructure projects, coordinating with owners, inspectors, and design engineers.

This role offers a clear path from Project Engineer to Senior Project Engineer to Project Manager. Located in the Atlanta area, this role requires strong submittals, RFIs, cost reporting and scheduling skills, with experience in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Hands-on with submittals, RFIs, quantities, cost reports and COs.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 & MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Run submittals and RFIs for your scope from start to closeout
• Build and maintain quantity takeoffs, project logs and pay applications
• Track cost against budget and prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts
• Build and update the project schedule in Primavera P6 with the field team
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries
• Work with the owner, DOT inspectors and design engineers on change orders and field issues
• Read and interpret plans, specs, traffic control and environmental requirements
• Mentor the field engineers on the team (Senior PE)
• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with real time in the field
