Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in the Atlanta area is seeking Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer to lead heavy civil highway and bridge projects. You will manage submittals, RFIs, cost reporting, and scheduling with Primavera P6, coordinating with owner, DOT inspectors, and design engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
Hands-on with submittals, RFIs, quantities, cost reports and change orders.
Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Run submittals and RFIs for your scope from start to closeout.
Build and maintain quantity takeoffs, project logs and pay applications.
Track cost against budget and prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts.
Build and update the project schedule in Primavera P6 with the field team.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries.
Work with the owner, DOT inspectors and design engineers on change orders and field issues.
Read and interpret plans, specs, traffic control and environmental requirements.
Mentor the field engineers on the team (Senior PE).
Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with real time in the field.
