Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Engineer at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, WY.

Must be a US citizen and able to pass a federal background check and drug screen. You will act as a technical advisor for structural systems on federal construction projects, review plans for constructability, and assist with contract modifications and government estimates. Responsibilities include inspections, QA, and coordinating submittals with designers and the project team,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, with structural emphasis.
• Licensed Professional Engineer; Wyoming license preferred.
• 10+ years as a structural engineer on large federal projects (USACE/DoD).
• Experience with RF shielding and ICD 705 construction is a plus.
• Proven ability to review plans, manage design reviews and constructability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for control of structural systems on federal projects.
• Provide advisory, consulting and review on structural issues and non-compliance.
• Review design documents for constructability and contract clarity.
• Assist in scopes of work for RFPs, government estimates, and PS/contract mods.
• Support inspections, QA, and contract administration with technical input.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance, RFIs, REAs, and submittals.
• Coordinate RFIs and submittals with designers and project team; document progress.
• Track progress, schedules, safety programs, and quality control measures.
