Job summary
Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer for a federal project based in Cheyenne, WY. The role will involve serving as a technical expert for structural systems on DoD/USACE contracts and coordinating across design, inspection, and contract administration teams.
Based in Austin, TX, this position requires a US citizenship and ability to pass a federal background check.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Structural Engineering.
- Current Professional Engineer license in Wyoming.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as structural engineer on large federal projects (USACE/DoD).
- Experience with RF Shielding and ICD 705 construction requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serves as technical expert and advisor for control of structural systems on federal construction projects.
- Reviews contract documents for constructability, non-compliance, and contract clarity during design.
- Assists in preparation of scopes of work for RFPs, government estimates, and contract modifications.
- Supports project inspections, QA, contract administration, and providing technical expertise.
- Prepares correspondence regarding contractor performance, RFIs, and payment estimates.
