Job summary

it's electric is a curbside electric vehicle charging company actively deploying in U.S. cities. We seek Philadelphia-based engineers to pivot into Climate & Energy, managing projects from concept to commissioning and regulatory approvals.

Role focuses on scalable charging deployments, site assessments, permit drawings, and cross‑functional coordination with utilities and city authorities. Fully remote, with travel to local meetings and Brooklyn HQ as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience, urban design/build preferred.
• Experience with municipal permitting and design reviews is a plus.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution in cities and buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project management for curbside charger deployments.
• Perform site assessments including power capacity evaluations.
• Create engineering drawings and specifications, stamping permit drawings.
• Coordinate with local authorities and utilities; manage contractors and sub-consultants.
• Develop and maintain project tracking and documentation tools.
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and local rules and permits.
