Job summary

it's electric is seeking a Project Designer to strategically plan and execute curbside EV charging deployments with a Northeast focus. The role covers design, permitting, and construction management for deployments, while supporting nationwide rollout as needed.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in architecture or urban planning, familiarity with design tools like Illustrator or AutoCAD, and strong coordination with city officials, trades, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Background in architecture, urban planning, or closely related field.
• Experience with urban design and build projects; rights-of-way is a plus.
• 2–5 years of relevant project experience from concept to completion.
• Familiarity with building codes, zoning requirements, and urban design standards.
• Experience coordinating with trades and contractors during construction and sign-off.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute curbside charging deployments; oversee design, permitting, and construction management.
• Lead projects with city officials and stakeholders; manage consultants and contractors.
