IT's Electric Inc in New York seeks a Project Designer to plan and execute curbside charging deployments. The role covers design, permitting, and construction management across the Northeast, with support for nationwide rollout.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in architecture or urban planning and can work with AutoCAD and Illustrator, city officials, and contractors. Travel to project sites is required; hybrid in-office/remote work at Newlab is preferred.

Qualifications

• Background in architecture, urban planning, or related field.
• 2–5 years experience from concept to completion.
• Experience with city permitting and coordination with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, permitting, and construction management for curbside charging projects.
• Coordinate with city officials, clients, and contractors.
• Develop project tracking tools and documentation.
• Travel to project cities as needed.
