Job summary

it's electric seeks Architects & Planners to evolve climate and energy infrastructure. The role focuses on planning and delivering curbside charging projects from design through construction in the Northeast and beyond, with extensive collaboration across city officials, consultants, and contractors.

Ideal candidates will bring 2–5 years of related experience, strong design software skills (Illustrator, AutoCAD), and familiarity with codes and permitting.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture, urban planning, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant project experience from concept to completion.
• Experience with design tools (Illustrator, AutoCAD) and building codes.
• Ability to coordinate with city officials, consultants, and contractors.
• Comfort working with city permitting processes and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute curbside charging deployments from design through construction.
• Lead permitting processes with city officials and utility signoffs.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and trades.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and tracking tools.
• Travel to project cities as needed (Philadelphia, Boston, DC).
