Job summary

Leonardo DRS is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the technical execution of advanced electro-optical and infrared systems in support of critical missions. You will drive projects from design through delivery, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget execution with high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Mastery of technologies and domain knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Ability to independently lead a team of engineers on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts for complex projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure design compliance with project requirements and customer specs.
• Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments.
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers.
