Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead requirements definition, circuit card design, and project completion on time and within budget. You will interface with IC design, test, software, mechanical, and system teams for infrared sensor systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's a plus) and 5+ years of EE experience, with skills in schematic capture, PCB design, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Masters degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of direct Electrical Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Engineering leadership and requirements decomposition.
• Circuit card design including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• CCAs verification testing and troubleshooting.
• Design reviews with peers and customers.
• Develop and analyze data for informed decisions.
• Meet budgets and schedules for design tasks.
• Create/ review BOEs and estimates.
