Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a dynamic Senior Specialist, Project Engineering to lead EO/IR solutions design, development and production. You will drive multidisciplinary efforts from definition through test of imaging surveillance systems for airborne and ground platforms, coordinating with teams to meet schedule and budget.

Role requires strong leadership, systems engineering proficiency, and ability to obtain a US government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years without a degree.
• Ability to obtain US government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams of 4–10 members to meet cost and schedule goals.
• Coordinate design, integration, and test across subsystems.
• Plan team resources and adapt to program needs.
• Support business development including cost/schedule generation.
• Ensure alignment with mission requirements and system-level performance.
