Job summary

Fleet Data Centers seeks a Sr. Project Engineer to own coordination, readiness, and closure for assigned scopes on data center projects. You will work with Construction Managers and Sr. Construction Managers to drive issues to resolution and keep leadership informed with clear status and risks.

You will mentor Project Engineers, anticipate readiness and coordination risks, and bridge project controls with construction management to improve outcomes on mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years in construction, project engineering, or project controls, owner/operator experience preferred.
• Proven ability to drive coordination across multiple stakeholders on large projects.
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office; familiarity with scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Own Assigned Coordination: independently own coordination, readiness, and action closure for meaningful scopes, driving items to resolution across internal and external parties.
• Decision & Commitment Tracking: maintain owner decision, clarification, and commitment tracking; identify stalled items and impact of unresolved issues.
• Review Workflow & Visibility: manage review workflows and status visibility so owner decisions are timely and informed; identify bottlenecks.
• Reporting Leadership: own recurring reporting for assigned responsibilities, presenting clear status, trends, and open risks to leadership.
