Job summary

Fleet Data Centers in Sparks, NV is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to own coordination, readiness, and closure for assigned scopes across mega-scale data center projects. You will drive issues to resolution and ensure decision-ready visibility for the owner team.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will mentor Project Engineers, coordinate with CSA, MEP, and BTM teams, and manage risk, procurement, turnover, and commissioning readiness in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent practical owner-side field experience.
• 4+ years of construction, project engineering, or project controls experience, including time representing an owner/operator or developer preferred.
• Proven ability to independently drive coordination and follow-through across multiple stakeholders on large-scale, fast-tracked projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Procore (or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with construction scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned coordination, readiness, and action closure for meaningful scopes or workstreams; drive items to resolution across internal and external parties.
• Maintain owner decision, clarification, and commitment tracking; identify stalled items and highlight business impact of unresolved issues.
• Manage review workflows and status visibility so owner decisions are timely and informed; identify and clear bottlenecks.
• Own recurring reporting for assigned responsibilities, presenting clear status, trends, and open risks to leadership.
