Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Project Engineer to support owner-side controls, documentation, and coordination for data center projects. You will keep decisions, actions, RFIs, submittals, and turnover requirements current and visible to leadership.

This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and disciplined follow-up, working with Construction Managers and the Sr Project Engineer to surface risks early and ensure commitments are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical construction experience.
• 0–4 years of construction, project engineering, or project controls experience; owner/operator or developer exposure preferred.
• Familiarity with Procore and MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Document Governance: Maintain organized, current, retrievable project records aligned with Fleet standards.
• Decision & Action Tracking: Track owner decisions, open actions, design clarifications, and commitments to closure.
• RFI & Submittal Support: Log, route, and track RFIs and submittals for owner action before leadership review.
• Reporting: Prepare and maintain recurring project reports and status logs for leadership.
