Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Project Engineer to join our owner‑side team supporting data center construction in the Tahoe‑Reno area north of Sparks, NV. This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and disciplined follow‑up to keep decisions, actions, RFIs, submittals, and turnover requirements current.

You will work with Construction Managers and Sr Project Engineer, maintaining status, surfacing risks early, and ensuring commitments are tracked and completed on schedule in a fast‑paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical construction experience.
• 0–4 years of construction, project engineering, or project controls experience.
• Strong organizational skills and disciplined documentation.
• Familiarity with Procore and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Document Governance: Maintain organized, current, retrievable project records aligned with Fleet standards, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
• Decision & Action Tracking: Track owner decisions, open action items, design clarifications, and commitments to closure, escalating stalled items.
• RFI & Submittal Support: Log, route, and track RFIs and submittals for completeness and required owner action before leadership review.
• Reporting: Prepare and maintain recurring project reports and status logs that leadership can rely on.
