Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. seeks a Sr. Project Engineer to take automation projects from concept to completion. You will design custom machines, lead design teams, and coordinate tasks, timelines, and milestones. Your work may involve robotics, vision systems, welding, fixtures, controls, material handling, and pneumatics.

You will communicate regularly with customers and management to ensure scope and schedule adherence, drawing on your SolidWorks, GD&T and fixture design expertise.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent with strong mechanical design skills.
• 5+ years of project design experience for fully customized automated production equipment.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and GD&T, welding and fixture design.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall design of a custom automated machine contracted for a client.
• Lead design tasks, timelines, milestones, and accountability within the team.
• Incorporate robotics, vision systems, welding, fixtures, controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Regularly communicate project status with customers and management.
