Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to drive the full design of customized automated production equipment from concept to completion.

You may lead a team of design engineers and contractors, managing time, milestones, and budgets while addressing robotics, vision systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls with customers and suppliers. Strong mechanical design skills with a BS ME, 5+ years of project design experience, and SolidWorks proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent with strong mechanical design skills.
• 5+ years of project design experience for fully customized automated production equipment.
• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Experience with welding, fixture design and GD&T.
• Desirable: robotics, vision systems, computer controls, data acquisition.
• Desirable: experience with customers and suppliers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead or coordinate a team to a schedule.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall design of a custom automated machine for a client.
• Lead designers and external contractors on larger projects.
• Break down design tasks, communicate time, milestones, and timelines.
• Coordinate with customers and management to report status.
