Job summary

Modern Construction Services is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects. You will coordinate documentation, track submittals, support contract administration, and maintain accurate data in Procore.

You will work with Project Managers and field teams, manage submittals and RFIs, and help ensure project performance and client satisfaction. On-site onboarding is required with hybrid flexibility after onboarding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale commercial projects.
• Proficiency with Procore.
• Experience managing submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications to support submittals.
• Manage submittal logs, RFIs, and change order logs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and distribute monthly project financial reports for management review.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, General Superintendents, Estimators, and Accounting to keep projects aligned.
