Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer for its PCI 115 Houston operations based in Pasadena, TX. The role emphasizes leading project activities, coordinating with field supervision, and ensuring QA/QC compliance on complex construction projects.

Ideal candidates will have 4–7 years of project management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years' experience managing construction projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word).
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and apply them on the job.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field staff.
• Create and manage punch lists and closeout documentation.
• Support QA/QC measures in the program.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
