Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its PCI Houston operations in Limestone, TX. You will provide project management support to commercial and industrial projects, coordinating safety plans, schedules, and QA/QC measures while managing costs and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in construction management, with proficiency in estimating, project management, and reading specifications/drawings.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Construction Management work experience.
• Experience with estimating/project management/managing specialty scopes of construction.
• Diagnose and navigate key project information to mitigate profitability risks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, think critically, and solve problems.
• Willingness to learn new job skills and apply training.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in safety plans for the branch and projects.
• Create/manage punch lists and QA/QC program adherence.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with field supervisors and foremen; communicate issues to optimize work sequence.
• Assist in vendor selection and subcontractor buyout processes.
• Manage job cost control via monthly FAWs on projects.
• Support Customer Alignment Plan and maintain positive customer relations.
