Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking an experienced engineering leader to direct all aspects of engineering activities and projects in the United States. You will ensure conformance to Sundt's policies, provide expert technical guidance, and steer budgets and strategic initiatives across the engineering function.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years of leading Engineering operations in construction, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Five+ years of experience in leading Engineering operations within construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Proficient in engineering management software.

Responsibilities

• Creates functional strategies and objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures.
• Develop estimating, design, geotechnical, and engineering construction services to operations.
• Establishes 3–5 year strategies aligned with Sundt's objectives.
• Incorporates components, materials, and tools for cost-effective, quality output.
• Manages overall engineering budget and costs.
• Provide technical support and scheduling assistance as needed.
• Review contracts, design considerations, job cost, and constructability.
