Job summary

Coastline Concrete & Infrastructure LLC seeks a Senior Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute commercial concrete projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to keep schedules on track and ensure field operations run smoothly.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable balancing project documentation with hands-on site involvement. A background in concrete construction and proficiency in English and Spanish are preferred, with a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3-5+ years of construction project engineering or project management experience, preferably in commercial concrete construction.
• Experience coordinating submittals, RFIs, schedules, and project documentation.
• Understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Monitor project schedules, production, and progress to support successful project execution.
• Coordinate field activities with Superintendents, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
• Track project labor, equipment, and production toward goals.
• Assist the Project Manager with project cost tracking and monthly projections.
• Maintain project records, including meeting minutes, daily reports, and as-built drawings.
• Identify and help resolve scheduling, constructability, and coordination challenges.
• Support jobsite safety and quality requirements.
• Communicate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Assist in developing and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Provide guidance to Project Engineers as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
