Job summary

Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates, Inc. seeks a mid-to-senior Project Manager for Construction Materials Testing/Inspection in the Maryland area. You will lead CMT projects, manage field teams, and ensure quality and safety across public and private sector projects.

The role offers growth toward Associate Principal Engineer, bonus eligibility, and client development responsibilities. Strong communication and PE license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering or related field to qualify for PE.
• PE license required or in-progress with plan to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CMT projects with minimal supervision.
• Review daily CMT field reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Develop new clients and maintain existing relationships; contribute to BD.
• Coordinate field technicians and inspection personnel.
• Interpret plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Ensure testing/inspection meets standards and safety requirements.
