Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates is seeking a mid-to-senior level Project Manager for Construction Materials Testing/Inspection. The role involves leading CMT projects, coordinating field teams, and engaging with clients on a range of public and private sector projects.

The candidate will supervise field technicians, interpret engineering plans, and ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements. A PE license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering or closely related science leading to PE licensure.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive engineering or consulting experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with clients and third parties.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage CMT projects with minimal supervision.
• Work independently while coordinating with principals and clients.
• Review daily CMT field reports for accuracy in a PM role.
• Develop new clients and maintain existing client relationships; participate in business development.
• Coordinate and oversee field technicians and inspection personnel.
• Represent the firm in client meetings and ensure quality standards.
