Job summary

GAF is seeking a Project Engineer IV to act as a technical SME for the plant's capital projects, overseeing critical, large-scale initiatives. You will drive strategic planning, risk management, and adherence to the Project Execution Process and engineering standards.

The role requires extensive experience in multi-million-dollar capital investments, stakeholder management, and governance of the AFCE process. Strong leadership of cross-functional teams and supplier coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience with capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical authority for plant capital portfolio.
• Approve major design deviations and provide high-level solutions.
• Lead critical decision-making with expert data analysis and risk identifications.
• Develop business cases for large-scale capital projects.
• Ensure defined scope, budget and schedule across the project lifecycle.
