GAF is seeking a Project Engineer to maintain excellence in developing, executing and controlling assigned projects to achieve plant goals. You will apply engineering principles to analyze construction of facilities and enhancements, optimizing production and safety. The ideal candidate manages multiple assignments and collaborates across teams.

The role emphasizes cost control, design scopes, and risk assessments while driving continuous improvement and ensuring reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical) required.
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing or roofing/building products.
• Multi-disciplinary project management and lead engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects across the lifecycle ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Define, design, and manage project installations with cost estimates and justifications.
• Provide technical analysis and recommend process/equipment modifications for safety and performance.
• Serve as primary technical resource for design, coordination, and startup activities.
• Manage internal maintenance and external contractors during project execution.
