Job summary

GAF is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Savannah, GA leadership team. You will lead the project engineering group, coordinating across Production, Maintenance, Technical Services, Supply Chain, R&D, and Quality Assurance to deliver capital projects on time and within budget.

You will drive capital planning, governance, and standardization while mentoring engineers and coordinating cross-functional activities to optimize safety, cost, and production opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 10 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience managing and leading teams directly; proven record of developing Engineers.
• Experience in Project Management with a demonstrated record of success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the development, submission, and approval of the site capital plan and strategic roadmap.
• Oversee the Site Capital Project Plan delivery, ensuring objectives, budget, and schedule compliance.
• Review AFCE requests and ensure alignment with corporate policies and strategic direction.
• Develop business cases for large capital projects and support senior leadership in project reviews.
• Provide support for new product development and ensure proper documentation and standards.
