Job summary

GAF seeks a Project Engineer IV to serve as the technical authority for the plant's capital portfolio, driving large-scale projects, risk management, and adherence to the Project Execution Process.

You will mentor engineers, lead cross-functional teams through complex scopes, develop business cases, and ensure defined scope, schedule, and budget before execution. Travel 10–15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10+ years of experience in an engineering role.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to influence and lead without direct authority and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority for the plant's capital portfolio.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle.
• Develop and present comprehensive business cases for large-scale capital projects.
• Ensure defined scope, schedule, and budget before moving to execution.
