Job summary

Modern Construction Services is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to support the delivery of commercial construction projects. You will coordinate technical tasks, manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, and change orders with Project Managers, ensuring accuracy and timely decisions.

On-site onboarding with hybrid flexibility after proven performance; opportunity to grow into advanced coordination or project management roles within a high-accountability environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale commercial projects.
• Proficiency with Procore and MS Office.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications; build and maintain the contract item list for submittals.
• Manage submittal logs, RFI logs, and change order logs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Issue subcontractor contracts and support scheduling updates between field and office teams.
• Maintain accurate project records and workflows in Procore; coordinate with PMs, GCs, estimators, and accounting.
