Job summary
Modern Construction Services seeks a Sr. Project Engineer to support the delivery of commercial construction projects. This role combines technical project coordination with ensuring project progress, accuracy, and commercial clarity.
You will collaborate with Project Managers to manage documentation, submittals, and contract administration within Procore. On-site presence is required during onboarding, with hybrid flexibility after proven performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale commercial projects.
- Proficiency with Procore and construction documentation processes.
- Experience managing submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Build and maintain the contract item list and submittal requirements.
- Manage submittal logs, RFI logs, and change order logs.
- Issue subcontractor contracts using templates at project kickoff.
- Support scheduling updates and coordination between field and office teams.
- Maintain accurate project records and workflows in Procore.
