Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe seeks an experienced Engineering Project Manager to drive cross‑functional initiatives and maintain design integrity across Tempe product families.

You will lead end‑to‑end project execution, coordinate suppliers, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• 6+ years of experience in aerospace engineering project management.
• Knowledge of aerospace engineering principles and project management.
• Experience with AS9100 quality standards.
• Experience in risk management, problem-solving, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Ability to maintain technical integrity and engineering intent, exercise independent technical judgment.

• Manage engineering projects contributing to the delivery and performance of Honeywell Aerospace Tempe product families

• Ensure product integrity as Design Authority of all Tempe product families

• Report directly to the Product Support Engineering Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics


• 6 or more years of experience in relevant engineering project management within the aerospace industry


• Knowledge of aerospace engineering principles and project management


• Knowledge of MS


• Experience with aerospace quality standards like AS9100


• Experience in risk management, problem‑solving, and coordinating cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals


• Ability to maintain technical integrity and engineering intent, exercise independent technical judgment, and remain steadfast in sound engineering decisions


• Must be a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status


• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis

• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers through projects
