Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead aerospace programs, defining scope and delivering on time with EVMS oversight. You will mentor engineers, coordinate across stakeholders, and drive process improvements within the CNS framework.

The role requires 8+ years in aerospace PM or technical CM, with PMP or EVMS, and travel to domestic/international meetings. Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in development of proposals, statements of work, and associated cost estimates.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and the program manager.
• Define and implement project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Prepare schedules and resource forecasting in Microsoft Project.
• Monitor project progress and adherence to timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management metrics.
• Lead risk management processes to identify and mitigate project delivery risks and issues.
• Contain scope growth through baseline change management.
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, provide project updates, and address concerns.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers, provide technical guidance and mentorship, and drive operational excellence.
• Design, build, and maintain aerospace safety systems through Honeywell Aerospace’s CNS organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
• Minimum 8 years of project experience or technical CM role developing FAA/EASA certified commercial avionics systems in the Aerospace industry
• Experience with CNS products and PE processes
• Gold Level EVMS certification or Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
• Ability to lead teams to fast, practical solutions using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements

• Able to travel to customer and internal Honeywell Aerospace meetings both domestic and international
