Connect Advisors, a rapidly growing Owner’s Representative firm, seeks a Project Director in Oklahoma City to lead complex projects end-to-end, guiding teams and client relationships throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires 10+ years of construction leadership, a related bachelors degree, and a proven ability to mentor teams, manage portfolios, and deliver value through proactive planning and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business or related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction management, owners representation, general contracting, architecture, engineering, or related project delivery roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior client relationship leader and trusted advisor, maintaining strong communication with Owner leadership and key project stakeholders.
• Provide executive-level oversight and direction for assigned projects and project teams throughout planning, design, preconstruction, construction, and closeout.
• Establish overall project priorities, goals, expectations, and accountability in alignment with the Owners objectives.
• Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules, contracts, quality, risk, and overall performance.
• Lead and mentor Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and other project team members.
• Ensure project teams proactively identify risks, challenges, and decision points and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Provide senior-level review and guidance on project budgets, estimates, forecasts, contingency management, change orders, and major financial decisions.
• Review overall project schedules, major milestones, critical path activities, and recovery or mitigation strategies when required.
• Guide procurement, contracting, design management, preconstruction, construction, commissioning, and closeout activities.
• Facilitate executive-level project meetings, presentations, and decision-making sessions with clients and key stakeholders.
• Provide strategic guidance regarding contractor performance, design team performance, project delivery strategies, and major project issues.
